Clarissa is a Voice Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Clinical Speech & Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin. She is also a voice and dialect coach and has a Masters of Fine Arts (Distinction) from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Clarissa has worked across Singapore, London and Dublin in environments from hospitals and clinics to boardrooms, drama schools and theatres. She currently works as a Clinical Voice Specialist at The Harley Street Clinic and provides gender-affirming voice therapy at the Tavistock Gender Identity Clinic. She also has a private voice therapy caseload and sees clients from all over the world via Zoom or face-to-face at Bloomsbury Alexander Centre in Holborn. She provides voice therapy and coaching for a wide range of audiences – from actors and singers to CEOs and broadcasters – to improve their voice, accent, speech, articulation and overall communication skills.

Clarissa’s aim is to help clients to become confident communicators and reach their fullest potential: whether that’s delivering a slick pitch, perfecting (or ‘softening’) an accent or managing voice-related complaints and concerns.

Clarissa is a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), the British Voice Association (BVA), the British Laryngological Association, (BLA) and the British Association for Gender Identity Specialists (BAGIS).

She is also a British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) registered practitioner, and helps many performers recover from injury and get back to a place of vocal freedom . Clarissa’s aim for each coaching and therapeutic relationship is to create a caring and nurturing environment where each and every individual can feel listened to – and heard.

Clarissa is a recognised practitioner with all major insurers, including Bupa, Axa, Aviva, Vitality, WPA and Healix.
